Number 150 April 15, 2004

Vision Statement: The Diocese of Northwest Texas is a community of mission outposts which invite in and welcome people who are seeking Jesus, train them to be his disciples, and send them into the world to do the work God has called them to do. Mission Statement: The Diocese of Northwest Texas will provide the energy, resources and support necessary to help all our communities become mission outposts and, where needed, to help plant new ones.

Bishop Ohl’s Easter Greeting

My Dear brothers and sisters in the Resurrected Christ

This Easter, perhaps more than any other in our lifetime, we have the opportunity to connect with our broken and hurting world with the Good News of Jesus' Life. The extremely popular movie "The Passion of the Christ" has brought a topic to the public conversation our faith in Jesus Christ. Even those of us who are extremely timid about professing our faith publicly have an opportunity to "witness" to this Miracle in our own lives. Even those of us who have not seen the movie have been engaged in conversations about Jesus' life and death, and God has given us the Lord of Life to share with others. Use this Easter season to invite a friend to come and celebrate the true joy of Christ. You know many who hunger to hear some good news. Tell them Christ is Risen! Halleluiah!!

2004Nominations
