Today was spent mostly in the Convention Hall, dealing with generally routine and almost always boring resolutions. We did adopt a new lectionary for our Church, and, just maybe, began a truly bold initiative toward a careful program for planned development of new church startups. But mostly we slogged through necessary but unexciting business, waited for the legislation on the Windsor Report that most of us are most interested in, and continued our constant struggle to get things done with the 'remote control' voting machines. Because it was where I was most of the day, these shots are mostly of the floor of Convention.

Behind the dais are flags from the 15 countries which are represented at General Convention.	In front of it is, as required by the Constitution of the Church, an open Bible.
I got to the floor a bit early to show how things looked before the Deputies arrived...	And ten minutes later, after.
Even the chicken perked up as the day began.	Here our own Pat Russell puts "egg on the face" of an unprepared Committee Chair.
Deputies and Bishops come in all varieties. The native headdress, and the priest, are from Ecuador.	After the sessions, a time to relax, discuss, plan and enjoy one another.
