There were two Episcopal Addresses to the 47th Annual Convention of the Diocese of Northwest Texas, which met October 28-30 in Lubbock

At the center of these was Bishop Ohl's Charge to Convention, delivered on the floor of Convention on Saturday, October 29.

Bishop Ohl also preached the Sermon at the Convention Eucharist and Ordination, Sunday, October 30.
 

Our Guest Speaker at Convention was the Rt. Rev. Katharine Jefferts Schori, Bishop of Nevada and Presiding Bishop-Elect of the Episcopal Church. Her Sermon at Friday Evensong and Speaker's Address on Saturday are well worth reading.

The convention passed an important Resolution on Apportionment.
